B-Sens Sign Forward Andrew Sweetland

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today that they have signed forward Andrew Sweetland to a professional try-out contract.

This is Sweetland's second stint with the B-Sens this season. The 24 year-old signed a PTO with the club on Jan. 16, appearing in five games and scoring one goal.

The native of Bonavista, Newfoundland has appeared in 37 games with the B-Sens' ECHL affiliate Elmira Jackals this season where he has recorded 21 goals, seven assists and added ten penalty minutes. He ranks first among Jackals in game winning goals with four.

Sweetland has skated in 104 career American Hockey League games with Binghamton and Rochester, recording seven goals, ten assists and adding 22 penalty minutes.

The B-Sens return to action tonight as they host the Charlotte Checkers at 7:05 p.m. Tickets are $17.75 for side seating, $16.75 for end seating.
