STAT OF THE DAY: With 12 games remaining, the Shorebirds have committed 186 errors, 33 more than they did last year (153). The Suns have made 47 more errors this season (200) than 2009 (153).

PREVIEW: The Shorebirds used a six-run ninth inning to defeat the Hickory Crawdads last night, 11-6. Six Shorebirds players recorded multiple hits in the 13-hit effort. The 'Birds play the Suns for a 21st time this season. It is the first meeting at Municipal Stadium since April 27th. The 'Birds aim for back-to-back wins for the first time since August 7th and 8th.

MOORE PRODUCTION: Shorebirds catcher Kyle Moore had his best game of the season last night (3-for-4, 2 RBIs). Moore was 1-for-24 entering the finale last night.

FIRST POSITIVE RESULT: The Shorebirds earned a positive result in the Hickory series (split) for the first time since the West Virginia series in mid-July. The 'Birds are 0-7-1 in the last eight series.

KELLY ON-BASE STREAK: Shorebirds third baseman Ty Kelly has reached base in ten straight games dating back to August 15. Kelly has notched three straight multi-hit games. He has a four-game hit streak.

SIX-GAMER: Mike Flacco takes a six-game hit streak into the series opener against Hagerstown. He is 8-for-26 during the stretch. Flacco has hit safely in 21 of the 28 games he has appeared in this season.

FOURTH STRAIGHT: The Shorebirds will finish the season at home for a fourth straight year. The last time they ended on the road was 2006.
