Moose Sign Painchaud To PTO

The Manitoba Moose today announced they have signed forward Chad Painchaud to a professional tryout contract.
Painchaud, 23, has appeared in 40 games so far this season with the Victoria Salmon Kings of the East Coast Hockey League. In that span, he has scored 46 points (18g & 28a) and collected 45 penalty minutes. The Mississauga, ON native has played in 38 career AHL games between the Chicago Wolves and Iowa Chops where he has racked up nine career points (4g & 5a) along with 13 career penalty minutes.
He was originally drafted by the Atlanta Thrashers in the fourth round, 106th overall, in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
