Sunday's Sea Dogs Game Postponed

Portland, Maine- Sunday's (May 10th) scheduled game between the Portland Sea Dogs and the New Britain Rock Cats has been postponed due to rain. The game will be made up as part of a single admission doubleheader on July 1st. Game time has been moved to 6:00 PM on July 1st.
Fans with tickets for the May 10th rain out, may exchange their ticket for a ticket of equal or lesser value to any remaining 2009 Sea Dogs home game. Any questions regarding rained out tickets may be directed to the Sea Dogs Ticket Office at 207-879-9500 or tickets@seadogs.com.
The Sea Dogs were scheduled to wear pink jerseys in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Day on Mother's Day with the proceeds going to the Maine Cancer Foundation for Breast Cancer Research. The Sea Dogs will now wear the pink jerseys on Saturday, June 6th when the Sea Dogs face the Trenton Thunder at Hadlock Field at 6:00 PM. Most of the game worn pink jersey's will be available for sale between the third and sixth innings of June 6th game. Jerseys will be sold on a first come, first serve basis for $80.00 at the Sea Dogs Information Desk in the concourse. These jersey's will be signed by the player and will come with a letter of authenticity. Select pink jerseys will go up for auction on EBay.
Sunday's rain out will be made-up as part of a single-admission doubleheader on July 1st. Game time has changed from a 7:00 PM start to a 6:00 PM start time to accommodate the doubleheader. The doubleheader will consist of two-seven inning games. Fans holding tickets for the July 1st game, those tickets are good for both games of the doubleheader.
This is the first rain out at Hadlock Field this season.
Tickets for all remaining 2009 Sea Dogs' home games area available and can be purchased by calling the Sea Dogs Ticket Office at 207-879-9500 or online at www.seadogs.com. The Sea Dogs leave Portland for a seven day road trip starting in Trenton, New Jersey against the Trenton Thunder on Monday, May 11th at 7:05 PM. The Sea Dogs return to Hadlock Field on Tuesday, May 19th at 6:00 PM against the New Hampshire Fisher Cats.
