Chicago Wolves News Release

The Chicago Wolves will kick off their 12th season of collecting toys for the United States Marine Corps "Toys for Tots" drive beginning at their home game this Wednesday, Dec. 3. The team will be accepting toys for the drive at four home games throughout the month of December.

Those who donate a new, unwrapped toy at the Allstate Arena on Wed., Dec. 3; Sat., Dec. 6; Sun., Dec. 14; and Sun., Dec. 21, will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win lunch with Wolves left wing Jordan LaVallee and center Matt Anderson.

"The U.S. Marine Corps does a great job spreading the holiday spirit to children around our community," said Wolves Vice President of Operations Courtney Mahoney. "It is nice to see our fans giving and sharing, especially in today's economy."

Over the years, the toy drive has been highlighted by donated items such as a PlayStation Portable game system, a dollhouse, and giant stuffed Panda Bear.

The Marine Corps, social welfare agencies and local community agencies will be distributing the toys throughout December to children in the Chicago area.
