Scott Glennie led the Wheat Kings with 3 goals, including the Overtime winner only 12 seconds into the extra frame.

The Brandon Wheat Kings came out firing as they jumped out to a 2-0 lead 12 minutes into the game. The Blades would answer back with goals from Darian Dziurzynski and Chris Langkow. Scott Glennie would add his second goal of the period, but once again the Blades responded with Gaelan Patterson's shorthanded goal with 2.4 seconds left in the period.

After a scoreless second period the Wheat Kings would get their 4th goal of the game from Nathan Green. Langkow would tie the game up with his second of the game, 7th of the season. Glennie would send 4,692 fans home only 12 seconds into OT as he received a pass from Brayden Schenn and made a nice move to get around the Blades defence.

Both teams went 1 for 3 on the power play. Braden Holtby made 32 saves on 37 shots, while Wheat Kings goalie, Andrew Hayes, made 30 saves on 34 shots.

The Blades next game is next Friday, November 28th against the Prince Albert Raiders. It is the final game of an 11 game home stand before the Blades head out west to B.C. Tickets can be purchased by calling 938.7800 or by visiting ticketmaster.ca.
