
Giants Claim Home-And-Home Opener

Kamloops Blazers News Release
The Giants rallied for a 6-4 win over the Blazers on Friday night in Vancouver.
After the Giants opened the scoring, the Blazers then got goals from Cole Grbavac, Giffen Nyren, and Tyler Shattock for a 3-1 lead after one period. The Giants took control of the game with four second period goals - taking a 5-3 lead after two. Each team then scored once in the third - with Shattock supplying a shorthanded goal to close out the offense.
Final shots were 29-23 Giants with Tyson Sexsmith getting the win while Justin Leclerc takes the loss. The Blazers were 2-for-4 on the PP and 3-for-4 on the PK.
The two teams will meet again tonight at ISC...game time is 7:00pm.
