
Chiefs Announce End of Summer/Back to School Special

With the end of the season fast approaching, the Peoria Chiefs have announced special low ticket prices for all fans when ordering online. For only $6, fans can order club box seats or box seats (based on availability) to either the Sunday, August 24 at 2:00 pm game or the game on Thursday, August 28 7:00 pm as the Chiefs face the Cedar Rapids Kernels. As another special part of this deal, $1 of every ticket sold will benefit Ryno Kid Care, a nonprofit organization founded by Chiefs manager Ryne Sandberg and his wife, Margaret, to enhance the lives of children with serious medical conditions.
Both Thursday and Sunday will feature a special opportunity for all fans to run the bases at O'Brien Field following the games. Sunday's game will also be a Taco Bell Family Day. Fans can pick up vouchers from participating area Taco Bell restaurants, and upon redeeming them at the box office, they will receive four club box seats, $20 in concessions vouchers, a disposable camera, and a picture frame all for just $48. Players will also be signing autographs for all fans on the concourse following the contest with the Kernels.
Chiefs Announce Caterpillar and FBI Bat Giveaway
Another special taking place on Sunday will be the annual baseball bat giveaway presented by Caterpillar and the FBI. The first 1,500 kids ages 12 and under to arrive a the ballpark prior to Sunday's game will receive one of these free bats.
