SOUTH BEND, IN - Pops at the Cove with the South Bend Symphony returns this Saturday, August 23. The Symphony will take to the field of Coveleski Stadium for this enchanting summer time concert, which will feature a special guest appearance by local jazz saxophonist, Danny Lerman. Lerman will perform four pieces with the Symphony. The concert will conclude with a spectacular fireworks finale to the 1812 Overture and The Stars & Stripes Forever.
Gates open at 6:00 p.m. The opening act features the River Bend Chorus of the Sweet Adelines and the Symphony will take to the stage at 7:30 p.m. Food and beverages will be available from the Concession Stands from 6:00-7:30 and during Intermission.
Great seats are still available and may be purchased at the Coveleski Stadium Box Office. The box office is open Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the concert. Tickets may be ordered over the phone at 574-235-9988.
Individual Pops at the Cove tickets are $22 for box seats and $20 for reserved seats. Groups of 20 or more receive a $2 discount.
