Mudcats, Rex Healthcare Announce Breast Cancer Fundraiser

Zebuon, NC --- The Carolina Mudcats, along with partner Rex Healthcare, are proud to announce Pink Jersey day at Five County Stadium for Sunday, July 27. The Mudcats players and field staff will be wearing special jerseys made to honor those who have fought or are fighting breast cancer. During the game, the jerseys will be auctioned, with all proceeds going to the Rex Healthcare Angel Fund. In May of 2007, the Mudcats and Rex Healthcare presented the first Pink Jersey Night at Five County Stadium. That night raised more than $5,000.00 for the Rex Healthcare Angel Fund. Current Mudcats stars whose jerseys will be available include: Cameron Maybin, Gaby Sanchez, John Raynor, Brett Sinkbeil and Chris Coghlan.
