Coughlin Crushes River Bandits

South Bend Silver Hawks News Release


South Bend, IN - Sean Coughlin and the South Bend Silver Hawks powered their way past the Quad Cities River Bandits by the score of 10-2. South Bend started off strong when Coughlin hit a grand slam to put them ahead 4-0.

Sean connected on a 2 run homerun in the 3rd to make the score 6-0. Dallas Buck was solid today but only lasted 4.2 innings because of a pitch count. Bryan Henry (2-5) ended up taking the win. Henry gave up 2 runs and 3 hits in 4.1 innings. Taylor Harbin, Coughlin, Collin Cowgill and Derrick Walker had 2 hits apiece. Coughlin ended the day with 7 RBI's. That is the record for RBI's in a game this season for the Hawks. The Silver Hawks and River Bandits will play the final game of their series on Friday. Game time is slated for 7:30 PM.
