Apprentice Contestants Hit Court Avenue for Task #2

Des Moines, IA - The five remaining contestants in the Apprentice Hockey League challenge received their second task from Coach Tana Goertz to take place on Friday, February 22.

In the first task contestants were asked to create an unforgettable atmosphere at an Iowa Stars game to earn a spot in the final five. The second task will involve taking the atmosphere they were able to create in the arena to the Court Avenue District.

On Friday, February 22 contestants are tasked to create the best pregame tailgate party at one of the Iowa Stars five Stars & Bars locations; The Royal Mile, Hessen Haus, El Bait Shop, High Life Lounge, and Buzzard Billy's. Additional Stars and Bars busses will be provided for this night to transport contestants and their guests to and from Wells Fargo Arena.

Jerah Gallinger, Ann Breeding, Eddie Buntenbach, Tony Dressen, and Tony Dickinson are still in the running towards becoming the first Iowa Stars Apprentice Hockey League winner and receiving a prize package that includes Bon Jovi suite tickets, Iowa Stars season tickets, hotel stays, airline tickets and tons of other great prizes.

The Apprentice Hockey League is a challenge combining personality, marketing skills, team spirit, and much more. Contestants going all the way will compete in a total of three challenges to determine who goes home and who wins one incredible prize package.
