Silvertips Acquire Dane Crowley from Broncos

Everett, WA - January 10, 2007: Everett Silvertips VP/General Manager, Doug Soetaert has announced that the Silvertips have acquired defenseman Dane Crowley, forward Jordan Mistelbacher and a Conditional 3rd Round Pick in the 2008 WHL Bantam Draft from the Swift Current Broncos for defenseman Eric Doyle.

Crowley was tied for 5th on the Broncos in scoring with 4 goals and 15 assists for 19 points in 33 games this season. The Winnipeg, MB native was also drafted by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 6th Round (168th Overall) in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft. The 6'3", 208 pound defenseman started his WHL career with the Saskatoon Blades and has recorded 7 goals and 41 assists for 48 points in his WHL career.

6'1", 190 pound forward Jordan Mistelbacher was drafted by the Swift Current Broncos in the 4th Round (63rd Overall) in the 2005 WHL Bantam Draft. The Winnipeg, MB native is currently playing in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League (Junior A) and has posted 3 goals, 17 assists for 20 points and 77 penalty mintues in 41 games with the Winnipeg Saints as a 16 year old. .
