Bruins acquire Brayden Metz

Chilliwack Bruins General Manager Darrell May announced today that the Bruins have acquired 16 year old forward Brayden Metz from the Regina Pats in exchange for 19 year old forward Myles Stoesz. Metz was selected 21st overall by the Pats in the 2005 WHL Bantam Draft. In 28 games this season with the Regina Pat Canadians of the Saskatchewan Midget League, Metz has 7 goals and 14 assists to go with 77 penalty minutes.

"The Bruins would like to thank Myles Stoesz for his contributions to the Bruins on and off the ice this season and wish him all the best as he continues his WHL career in Regina."
