WHL Spokane Chiefs

Three home games this week

January 10, 2007 - Western Hockey League (WHL)
Spokane Chiefs News Release

The matter at hand for the Chiefs, as it has been since the start of November, is the three team race for second place in the U.S. Division giving Saturday's game versus the Tri-City Americans more meaning than usual. Before attending to that, the Chiefs will host two B.C. Division opponents when Kamloops visits on Wednesday and Chilliwack, Friday.

The Chiefs enter the week with a 21-14-3-2 record and 47 points, the same as Tri-City and one less than Seattle in second place. The Everett Silvertips lead the division with a 33-6-0-1 record and 67 points.

This week's games will be the final three in the Arena for Spokane before a 17 day stretch of no home games. During that time, Spokane will travel eight times, including a span of seven games in nine nights.

Tickets to all home games are available by calling the Chiefs office at (509) 535-PUCK or TicketsWest at (800) 325-SEAT.
