Royals have busy week ahead

OMAHA - The Round Rock Express, whose principal owners include Hall of Famer Nolan Ryan, is coming to Rosenblatt Stadium next week. The Royals will mark the occasion with a Nolan Ryan bobblehead giveaway. The Royals will entertain Round Rock for four games, followed by a four-game set against the Nashville Sounds, the team that the Royals are chasing in the PCL's American Conference North. A full rundown of the festivities follows:

Monday, July 18, 7:05 p.m.: It's $1 Hot Dog Night for the series opener vs. Round Rock!

Tuesday, July 19, 7:05 p.m.: Bring in two Pepperidge Farm product labels and receive one free ticket to the game!

Wednesday, July 20, 7:05 p.m.: Gates open at 6 and the 1st 1,000 receive Nolan Ryan Bobbleheads, courtesy of Starter! Plus, enjoy the Principal Financial Group Family Fun Fest outside the stadium beginning at 4...the free event features more than 20 baseball-themed attractions!

Thursday, July 21, 12:05 p.m.: The Round Rock series wraps up with ½ price hamburgers, courtesy of Omaha Steaks, Mail Solutions & Z-92!

Friday, July 22, 7:05 p.m.: The Nashville series opener will be followed by Fireworks and the annual Boy Scout Sleepover, presented by Complete Nutrition, No Frills Supermarkets, KAT 103 & Cox Communications!

Saturday, July 23, 6:05 p.m.: Gates open at 4 and the 1st 1,500 fans receive Golf Balls, courtesy of First Data Corporation, Midwest Airlines, CD 105.9 & OmahaCars.com!

Sunday, July 24, 1:35 p.m..: A Blood Drive will be held outside the stadium from 11 to 3...Gates open at 12:30 and the 1st 500 fans receive First Aid Kits, plus it's another Family Fun Day, with kids invited to run the bases after the game! It's brought to you by 100.7 FM KGBI & KPTM Fox-42!

Monday, July 25, 12:05 p.m.: The home stand finale features ½ price hamburgers, courtesy of Omaha Steaks & Z-92!
