November 14, 2016 - EL PASO- The El Paso Chihuahuas announced game times for their 2017 home schedule on Monday. Opening Day is slated for 7:05 p.m. on April 6th versus the Las Vegas 51s (New York Mets) at Southwest University Park. The home season includes 71 games that will run through August 31st. September 20, 2016 - The Pacific Coast League champion El Paso Chihuahuas fell to the International League champion Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders 3-1 in Tuesday's Gildan Triple-A National Championship Game in Memphis, Tenn. It was the IL's fourth victory in the 11-year history of the event. September 18, 2016 - The El Paso Chihuahuas clinched their first Pacific Coast League championship Saturday in a 4-3 suspenseful 11-inning win. It is the first title for a Padres Triple-A affiliate since 1988 and El Paso's first professional baseball championship since 1994. With the game tied 1-1 in the sixth inning, Hunter Renfroe hit a two-run single through a drawn-in infield to give the Chihuahuas a 3-1 advantage.
