September 20, 2016 - The Pacific Coast League champion El Paso Chihuahuas fell to the International League champion Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders 3-1 in Tuesday's Gildan Triple-A National Championship Game in Memphis, Tenn. September 18, 2016 - The El Paso Chihuahuas clinched their first Pacific Coast League championship Saturday in a 4-3 suspenseful 11-inning win. It is the first title for a Padres Triple-A affiliate since 1988 and El Paso's first professional baseball championship since 1994. September 15, 2016 - The El Paso Chihuahuas hit three home runs in their 10-4 win over the Oklahoma City Dodgers in Game 2 of the Pacific Coast League Championship Series Wednesday. El Paso now has a two games to none lead and can win the 2016 PCL title with one more victory in Oklahoma City. September 8, 2016 - The El Paso Chihuahuas had a two-run ninth-inning comeback to tie the Tacoma Rainiers but eventually lost 6-5 in 12 innings in Game 1 of the Pacific Coast League playoffs Wednesday night. It was the first extra-inning postseason game in Chihuahuas' team history.
