Game Keys: Willie Collazo pitched five scoreless innings in relief and earned his fifth win of the season as the Zephyrs defeated Sacramento 4-1 at Raley Field. Jesus Felicano drilled a two run home run in the top of the sixth inning to give the Z's a 2-1 lead. The Z's scored a pair of runs in the ninth inning to extend the advantage to 4-1. Collazo retired the side in the bottom of the ninth to complete the contest. Philip Humber pitched the first four innings and allowed one run off of two hits. Esteban Loaiza started the game for Sacramento in a rehab assignment and pitched 4.2 innings and allowed no runs on three hits. Kaz Tadano followed Loaiza and allowed the pair of runs and suffered the loss. The first place Z's have won four in a row and lead the series 1-0.

Game Notes: Willie Collazo earned his 4th win in his last six appearances and has not allowed a run in 14 innings pitched ... The first place Zephyrs have won 11 of their last 12 games ... The Z's have a five game lead on Oklahoma for first place in the PCL American South Division. The Zephyrs added pitcher Mike Pelfrey from the Mets and assigned infielder Mark Kiger to Class AA Binghamton. ... Pitcher Jon Adkins and catcher Sandy Alomar Jr. have cleared waivers and accepted their assignment to New Orleans.... both are expected to join the team on Thursday ..... Z's starter Brian Lawrence is expected to be promoted and start for the Mets on Thursday afternoon in Milwaukee ... .The Z's finished July with a record of 15-13 after starting the month 2-8.

Coming Up: The Zephyrs and Sacramento meet in the second game of a four game series on Thursday. Mike Pelfrey pitches for the Z's, and Colby Lewis starts for the Rivercats in the 9:00 p.m. game at Raley Field.
