
Zephyrs to Donate Money To Mike Coolbaugh Memorial Fund

Metairie, LA - On Saturday, August 18th the New Orleans Zephyrs will hold âMike Coolbaugh Night' at Zephyr Field during their 6:00 PM CT game, at which time they will announce the total amount that has been collected for the Mike Coolbaugh Memorial Fund since Coolbaugh's death on Sunday, July 22nd.
Coolbaugh was a member of the 2004 New Orleans Zephyrs and shares the Zephyrs all-time record for home runs in a season with 30, a record he shares with his teammate Phil Hiatt from that year.
Since his death the Zephyrs have encouraged fans to make donations at their games and have been giving anyone that makes a minimum $5 donation two tickets to the August 18th game
