Portland Winterhawks News Release
PORTLAND - ZOOM+Care and the Portland Winterhawks today announced a new partnership for the 2019-20 hockey season. As part of the partnership, ZOOM+Care will be the Title Sponsor of the Winterhawks' annual Mental Health Awareness Night on Sunday February 23rd 2020. Additionally, the penalty boxes at all Winterhawks home games in both the Moda Center and Veterans Memorial Coliseum, will be known as the "Waiting Rooms" - a nod to ZOOM+Care's efforts to keep their patients out of the waiting room with no-wait visits that start on time.
"ZOOM+Care is delighted to partner with such a beloved and richly-storied franchise as the Portland Winterhawks," said Brett Myers, ZOOM+Care's Sr. Marketing Manager. "We're immensely thrilled at the opportunity to sponsor Mental Health Awareness Night and share the story of how ZOOM+Care's unique approach to quality, same-day care extends to mental healthcare, emergency care, and more. We can't wait to connect with the Winterhawks' amazing fan base throughout the season and celebrate together as the Winterhawks push for a WHL championship."
In addition to involvement with the Mental Health Awareness Night and sponsorship of the penalty boxes, ZOOM+Care will also sponsor the Winterhawks' mascot, Tommy Hawk, who will be featured in a video visiting ZOOM+Care's Super Clinic-an alternative to the ER without the long waits and high cost. The video will be shown at all Winterhawks home games and in five Winterhawks television broadcasts on CW32 TV beginning January 25, 2020.
"We are very excited to be partners with ZOOM+Care as they expand their presence in the Portland market," said Portland Winterhawks President Doug Piper. "We have some exciting partnership activations coming up this season that will help grow the ZOOM+Care brand and help Portland-area residents become more-familiar with their locations and quality, on-demand services."
ZOOM+Care's innovative, on-demand primary care model has attracted and retained thousands of loyal patients who value ease and accessibility. The company's online scheduling (available via iOS app, or at zoomcare.com), guaranteed same-day and on-time visits, paperless check-in, transparent pricing, and collaborative care provide a stark counterpoint to most traditional healthcare models.
