
Zephyrs defeat Sounds

The Zephyrs continued their hot streak and come-from-behind tendencies, winning 7-6 over the visiting Nashville Sounds on Saturday.
Right fielder Kenny Kelly had the game-winning single in the bottom of the ninth inning with the bases loaded to score center fielder Ryan Church. Kelly went 2-5 with two RBI on the evening.
First baseman Larry Broadway had another impressive outing, as he went 4-5 and scored a run for the Zephyrs.
Relief pitcher Travis Hughes (1-3) is credited with the win for New Orleans, as he struck out the final three batters in in the ninth inning.
Starter Pedro Astacio threw four innings and gave up five runs on eight hits in his second rehab start with the Zephyrs.
Reliever Mitch Stetter (2-4) gets the loss for the Sounds. Stetter allowed one run on three hits. He did not record an out.
With the Zephyrs getting their seventh win in a row, they take a 3-0 lead over the Sounds in the series. The teams will wrap up on Sunday with a game scheduled for 6:00 PM CT.
