Zavier Simpson Hits Game Winner to Sweep 905

March 18, 2023 - NBA G League (G League) - Lakeland Magic News Release

Zavier Simpson sinks a three with one second on the clock as the Lakeland Magic defeated the Raptors 905 on the road in Mississauga, 112-111 on Saturday afternoon.

Drake Jeffries led the Magic with 19 points and six rebounds, while Joel Ayayi collected a triple-double tallying 15 points,12 assists, and 11 rebounds. Zavier Simpson also added 18 points. Sterling Brown had a game-high 27 points and five steals for the 905 and Darryl Morsell netted 17 points.

"We practice that play often. It didn't go as planned but my footwork felt perfect. We wanted to get the best shot, I was thankful to help us get the win," Simpson said.
