Skyforce Routes Kings 144-119 in Fourth-Straight Victory

Stockton, CA - The Sioux Falls Skyforce snapped the Stockton Kings' eight-game win streak in a 144-119 victory on Saturday evening from Stockton Arena.

Miami HEAT two-way player Jamal Cain secured his second game of 30-plus points in his last three outings, as he netted 32 points on 12-17 FGA and seven rebounds. Cain also had a season-high plus-30 plus-minus.

Sioux Falls (18-12) edged Stockton (22-7) 36-33 in the opening quarter, despite the Kings shooting 65 percent from the field (13-20 FGA).

Cain posted 20 points in the second quarter, as he shot 7-9 FGA. Jon Elmore added 11 points in the period, as well, as the Force outscored the Kings 44-34 in the frame to secure an 80-67 lead at intermission. It marked a season-high for points scored in a half.

Sioux Falls shot 65 percent from the field (15-25 FGA) in the third quarter and outscored Stockton by 14 points to build a 27-point lead (118-91) with just 12 minutes remaining. The Kings edged the Skyforce by two points in the final frame, but Sioux Falls was able to score a regular season-high 144 points in the team's fourth-straight victory.

Justin Champagnie secured his fifth game of scoring 20-plus points in the last six games, as he had 21 points and nine rebounds. HEAT two-way player Orlando Robinson had 13 points and nine rebounds in the victory.

The Skyforce wraps up the regular season on Friday and Saturday in a back-to-back with the Memphis Hustle (21-7). Tip-off is slated for 7:00 PM CST on Friday at the Sanford Pentagon. Stockton hosts the Mexico City Capitanes on Wednesday (17-11).
