Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League and the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League, today announced that team captain Yannick Tifu will donate $10.00 to the American Cancer Society for every power play goal scored by the Royals at Santander Arena through the Royals' game on Friday, April 4, 2014, when the team will face the Kalamazoo Wings (7:05 pm) and host 'American Cancer Society Night'.
"We want to pass on our sincere thanks to Yannick and the team for joining the fight against cancer in this way," said Barb Bieber, American Cancer Society Specialist - Relay for Life.
