
Yankees C Francisco Cervelli at New Britain Stadium Tonight

New Britain, CT- New York Yankees Catcher Francisco Cervelli is expected to be in the lineup tonight (6:35 PM) with the Trenton Thunder as they open up a 3-game weekend series against the Rock Cats at New Britain Stadium. Cervelli, is expected to play in all three games this weekend (Saturday 6:35 PM & Sunday 1:35 PM) against the Rock Cats.
Cervelli, 28, is currently on the Yankees 60-day disabled list with a strained hamstring. He was injured on April 13 in a game against the Boston Red Sox. He has played in 7 rehab games in Tampa, Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and Trenton. He is batting .188 with an RBI in five games for the Yankees this season. Cervelli batted .298 with 4 doubles, one home run, 11 RBI in 42 games as a rookie for the Yankees in 2009.
