SIOUX CITY, IA After claiming the 2008 American Association North Division 2nd Half Championship, your hometown Sioux City Explorers look to continue thier winning ways tonight when the kick off the 2009 season in El Paso, TX with game one of a scheduled four game series verus the Diablos. Game Time is 8:05 CST for all games in El Paso.
After a (4) game series in El Paso, your Sioux City Explorers travel to Fort Worth Texas to play a three game set versus the Cats. The X's will then travel home from Texas on Thursday, May 21st to prepare for the home opener at Lewis & Clark Park on Friday, May 22nd versus the Wichita Wingnuts.The first pitch on Friday is set for 7:05 PM and the first 1000 fans will receive a FREE 2009 Magnet Schedule thanks to L&L Distributing and to cap off the night there will be a great post game fireworks display following the game!!.
The X's will also play host to the Wingnuts on Saturday (May 23rd at 7:05 PM) and Sunday (May 24th at 6:05 PM). .
