PITTSBURGH, October 30, 2007 - The Pittsburgh Xplosion of the Continental Basketball Association today announced the signing of former Saint Xavier University (Chicago) standout Phillip Watson. Watson will participate in training camp for the Xplosion which begins November 5.
The 6-3 Watson finished his career at Saint Xavier 3rd all-time in assists and 14th all-time in points. Watson also helped the Cougars to the Elite 8 of the NAIA Tournament.
Training camp runs November 5-14. Pittsburgh's 2007-2008 Continental Basketball Association schedule begins November 16 when the Xplosion host East Kentucky. Season tickets are now on sale. Log on to www.pittsburghxplosion.com or call (877) 410-9900 for more information.
