
Lincoln Glass To Participate Xplosion Training Camp

PITTSBURGH, October 30, 2007 - Former Lincoln Trail College and Auburn University standout Lincoln Glass has signed a conditional contract to participate in training camp for the Continental Basketball Association's Pittsburgh Xplosion.
The South Bend, Indiana, native played last season for the United States Basketball League's Dodge City Legend, where he contributed to the Legend's USBL Championship run. In 2006, the 5-11 Glass played for the USBL's Nebraska Cranes, and was named to the USBL Championship All-Tournament Team. He previously played in the ABA for the Indiana Alley Cats in 2005. He posted a team-high 8 assists in a 131-116 win over the Xplosion on December 11, 2005.
Prior to his professional career, Glass attended Lincoln Trail (Illinois) College and Auburn University. At Lincoln Trail, Glass was named NJCAA All-American Honorable Mention in 2000. After transferring to Auburn, Glass played a significant role for the Tigers, playing in 32 games with 7 starts. On January 17, 2001, Glass set a career-high with 16 points in a loss at the University of Arkansas. He averaged 7.2 points per game for the season.
