THE LEAD OFF: West Virginia rallied to beat the Lexington Legends 10-6 on Friday night at Appalachian Power Park. West Virginia was trailing 4-1 but rallied to within one in the third thanks to an RBI single by Michael Suchy and Jordan Luplow scored on a wild pitch. The Power tied the game in the fifth on Suchy's second hit of the night, a double to right. Trace Tam Sing delivered the key hit for the Power, a two-run double in the sixth to give West Virginia a 6-4 lead. Cole Tucker followed moments later with a double of his own as the Power finished the night with five doubles as a team. Pablo Reyes led the team with three hits on Friday and scored three times in the win.

MUSTACHED WARRIORS: The Power continue the homestand with game two of the series against the Lexington Legends tonight at Appalachian Power Park. This is the first time the Power have seen the Royals' Class-A affiliate since the five-game series in late April. The Power are 7-2 against Lexington this year and hold a 105-97 record all-time against them. The two teams will meet again twice in late August.

FINALLY ON THE BOARD: With four plate appearances on Thursday, Power outfielder Jerrick Suiter accumulated enough plate appearances to qualify among the batting leaders in the South Atlantic League. His .307 batting average is the 11th best in the league and the best among all West Virginia Power hitters. Suiter missed most of May due to an oblique strain. Cole Tucker ranks second on the team with a .289 batting average.

SING IT OUT: Trace Tam Sing's go-ahead two-run double in Friday's win against Lexington was his fourth multi-RBI game of the season and his second since the all-star break. With runners in scoring position, Tam Sing is hitting .321 with 19 RBIs and has performed even better when there are runners in scoring position and two outs (.385).

INCHING TOWARDS RECORDS: Reliever Nick Neumann leads the team with 12 saves and is now tied for sole possession of fifth all-time in Power franchise history. Nate Kilcrease from the 2012 team tallied 15 saves to lead the franchise. Neumann's save last night was his first since June 25 against Greensboro.

ROUND TRIP TO TORONTO: Tito Polo was placed on the Temporary Inactive List so the outfielder could participate in the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto. Representing Colombia, Polo is 3-for-17 with one home run and was the leadoff hitter in the first three games. Polo went 1-for-4 in the loss yesterday to the Dominican Republic. Baseball at the Pan-Am games concludes on Sunday but Colombia (0-5) has no more games scheduled.

THE MILLIONS (AND MILLIONS): Tonight the Power are expecting its two-millionth fan to enter the gates of Appalachian Power Park. The franchise is currently 211 fans shy of reaching the two-million mark. Whoever is the two-millionth fan will receive a prize package including two Power season tickets for next season.

PROMO UPDATE - JULY 30: West Virginia will celebrate the 30th anniversary of Back to the Future with a theme night dedicated to the film and series. Fans can enjoy a postgame concert by Mighty McFly as part of the Enchantment Under the Sea Dance and the players will be wearing Back to the Future-themed jerseys to be auctioned off with all proceeds to benefit the research of Parkinson's Disease.
