Lafayette Grad Anderson Miller Joins Lexington Legends

Former Lafayette High School baseball star Anderson Miller is coming back to Lexington as a professional.

Miller was added to the Lexington Legends roster today (Saturday), and will be in uniform tonight in Charleston, West Virginia as the Legends take on the West Virginia Power.

The Legends' next home game is Wednesday, July 22 at 12:05 p.m. against Rome.

Miller, an outfielder who played college baseball at Western Kentucky University, was drafted by the Kansas City Royals in the third round of the June 2015 draft. He was the 98th overall pick.

Miller earned first team Conference USA honors in his final season at WKU. After signing with the Royals, he played in one game with the Arizona League Royals before moving on to the Burlington Royals of the Appalachian League. In Burlington, he played in 10 games and had 13 hits in 38 at bats for a .342 average with two home runs and seven runs batted in.
