The only teams in the league eliminated from postseason contention are Greensboro, Kannapolis, and Hagerstown. The Power can clinch the division title as early as Saturday.
HELLO, KRAMER: Prior to Tuesday's game, the Pirates placed Power 3B Jordan Luplow on the disabled list and promoted 2B Kevin Kramer to the West Virginia Power from the West Virginia Black Bears. Kramer becomes the fifth player in the history of the Power to suit up for the team after being drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates the same year. Kramer was a second-round selection from UCLA and is hitless in two games with the Power.
MISSED AND LACKING CHANCES: The Power tallied only two hits in the Thursday loss at Augusta. It was the first time this season the Power collected less than three hits in a single game. In this current series, the Power are 4-for-33 with runners in scoring position and have left 29 men on base.

GREAT GARCIA: In Thursday's loss, Power starter Yeudy Garcia struck out a career-high ten batters over 5.2 innings.
