
WV Black Bears' Staff to Coach NYPL All-Star Game

West Virginia Black Bears News Release
Granville, WV - The New York-Penn League office has announced that the West Virginia Black Bears' coaching staff will lead the South Team in the 2016 NYPL All-Star Game. This year's late-summer classic will be hosted by the Hudson Valley Renegades on August 16th at 6:35 PM from Dutchess Stadium.
Manager Wyatt Toregas, Hitting Coach Jonathan Prieto, Pitching Coach Mark DiFelice along with the support staff will be on site for this year's game. The staff will be working with players from West Virginia, State College, Williamsport, Mahoning Valley, Aberdeen, Brooklyn and Staten Island. The North and South rosters, which consist of two players at every position and ten pitchers, will be released at a later date.
"The All-Star Game provides a great opportunity to celebrate those players and coaches who have truly thrived this season. We were very excited to have Wyatt and his staff chosen for the role this year. It is quite an honor and we look forward to supporting them in Hudson Valley," said General Manager Matthew Drayer.
The 2016 All-Star Game is two days worth of events celebrating the All-Stars and their accomplishments. Past participants have included the Pittsburgh Pirates Andrew McCutchen. This year the events will take place over the course of August 15th-August 16th.
