Wranglers Swing Trade With Dayton For Center Riedel

Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers® announced today the team has traded for center Dan Riedel from Dayton Bombers in exchange for financial considerations.

Riedel leaves Dayton tied for the team lead in scoring with 46 points in 55 games played. The centerman leads the team with 19 goals, including a team-high 11 goals on the power play. Riedel is fourth on the team in assists with 27. The Michigan native leads Dayton with 25 power-play points. The 5-foot-9, 185-pounder is in his third full professional season, his second in the ECHL. In 151 pro games, Riedel has 49 goals and 53 assists for 102 points. Prior to turning pro, Riedel played two seasons of collegiate hockey at Ferris State University from 2005-07. In 53 NCAA games, Riedel scored 12 times and accumulated 41 points.

The Wranglers continue on a ten-game road trip with their next stop in Ontario this Saturday at 7:00 PM. Las Vegas will make stops in Bakersfield and Alaska before hosting the Idaho Steelheads on March 13th and 14th at 7:30 PM at the Orleans Arena.
