
Wranglers Sign Barry Goers

Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers(r) announced that they have signed defenseman Barry Goers to a standard player contract.
Goers, 23, joins the Wranglers after completing four years at the University of Massachusetts-Lowell. The 5-9, 180 lb. defenseman accumulated five goals and 37 assists in 133 collegiate games. His best season occurred during his sophomore campaign in 2007-08, when he totaled four goals and 20 assists in 37 games. The Ivyland, Pennsylvania native also served as a team captain for the River Hawks. He will wear #11.
"Barry is an offensive defenseman who is comfortable handling and moving the puck," said Wranglers Head Coach Ryan Mougenel. "I believe he has what it takes to be an extremely successful defenseman at this level and should help us in our push for the Kelly Cup Playoffs."
