Let The Voting Begin For The 2010 Reading Eagle Fans Choice Awards

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL today invite all fans to submit their vote for the team's 2010 Fan's Choice Awards presented by the Reading Eagle. Ballots will be available in the Reading Eagle sports page beginning this week and are also currently available at the Royals' website, www.royalshockey.com. Votes can be mailed to the Royals' office (645 Penn Street, Reading, PA 19601) or can be faxed to 610-898-4625. Ballots must be received by the team by 2 pm on Wednesday, March 31, to be eligible.

The awards, which will be presented in conjunction with Fan Appreciation Night during the team's final home game on Saturday, April 3 @ 7:05 pm against the Trenton Devils, include: (i) Offensive Player of the Year presented by Nathaniel Ehrlich, Esq. (ii) Defensive Player of the Year presented by V&M Towing; (iii) Rookie of the Year presented by The Works at Wyomissing; (iv) The Ironman Award presented by American Male Salon for Men; (v) Heart Award presented by Commonwealth Orthopedic Associates; (vi) Unsung Hero Award presented by Frymoyers Hotel & Restaurant; (vii) Scrapper of the Year by V&M Towing; (viii) Most Valuable Player presented by Auto Spa of Wyomissing; and (ix) the Fan's Choice Award.

The Royals return to action on Wednesday (March 24, 2010 @ 7:05) when the team kicks off a season long six game road trip in Gwinnett, Georgia, against the Gwinnett Gladiators. The Royals game night broadcast on the Royals Radio Network presented by Transmissions by Arbogast will begin at 6:35 pm.
