Trenton's Murray Suspended, Fined

Princeton, N.J. - The ECHL announced that Trenton defenseman Chris Murray has been suspended for two games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #639 at Gwinnett on March 21.

Murray was assessed an elbowing penalty at 14:34 of the third period and is suspended and fined under Rule #29 - Supplemental Discipline.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Murray will miss Trenton's games against Johnstown on March 24 and at Elmira on March 26.
