
Wranglers release promotions schedule

Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today the promotions schedule for the upcoming 2005-06 season.
Opening Night is Centennial Night for the Wranglers on Tuesday, October 25th at 7:05 pm at the Orleans Arena. The team will wear commemorative jerseys to celebrate Las Vegas' 100th birthday. The game-worn jerseys will be available to purchase through a silent auction during the game. The anthem will be presented by two performers from Cirque du Soleil's "Mystère" and Cirque du Soleil will hand out clown noses to the first 1,500 fans.
Multiple national performing acts will make their way to the Orleans Arena this season; including Big Elvis (Saturday, January 7th), Mini Kiss (Midnight Game), Zooperstars (Saturday, February 25th), Fire and Ice (Saturday, November 12th), Balloon Man (Saturday, December 3rd), Crazy Cameron (Saturday, January 14th and Saturday, March 18), Anna Jack - the Hoola Hoop girl from CBS' Late Show with David Letterman- (Saturday, February 18th) and Nickelodeon's Dora the Explorer (Saturday, March 25th).
The Wranglers will also host numerous giveaway nights. On Friday, November 11th the Wranglers will hand out 5,000 Wranglers Mouse Pads with a 2005-06 schedule, sponsored by Case By Case Document Imaging Solutions. Las Vegas will celebrate Thanksgiving by handing out 2,000 Trucker Hats with Mullets the Friday after Thanksgiving on November 25th. On Friday, December 30th the first 2,500 fans to the game will receive a Duke Wind-Up Toy, sponsored by Cox Communications. Friday, February 10th the Wranglers will celebrate "Disco Night" by handing out 2,000 Afro wigs. The first 2,000 fans to the Friday, February 18th game will receive a Duke Dodge Ball. Two thousand Wranglers Pucks will be handed out on Friday, March 31st and 2,000 Wranglers Trading Cards will be given away on Friday, April 7th. Saturday, April 8th will be the third annual Fan Appreciation Night.
Every Saturday from 4:00-6:00 pm in the parking lot of the Orleans Arena, fans will welcome the return of the Port Of Subs pre-game party. Port Of Subs returns as the main host of a pre-game party with live music and food vendors.
Individual game tickets for Opening Night and all other 35 regular season home games go on sale this Thursday, September 1st at 10:00 am. The Wranglers will open the 2005-06 home season at the Orleans Arena on Tuesday, October 25th at 7:05 pm against the Utah Grizzlies. Wranglers' ticket locations are the Orleans Arena Box Office, Coast Casinos' showroom box offices at The Orleans, Gold Coast, Suncoast and South Coast (opening in 2006) or at the Boulevard, Galleria or Meadows Malls guest relations/ticket centers. Las Vegas will open the 2005-06 season on the road in Utah on October 21st. The Wranglers play all 36 home games at the Orleans Arena, located at the Orleans Hotel and Casino at 4500 W.
