Royals Add Front Office Staff and Equipment Manager

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals, affiliate of the NHL's Los Angeles Kings and AHL's Manchester Monarchs, have announced the hiring of David Stinson as promotions manager and Thomas Pomposello Jr. as equipment manager effective immediately.

David Stinson joins the Royals from Gateway Ticketing Systems, Inc., a software and technology company in the Reading area. He received Bachelor of Science Degrees in Music Performance and Public Relations and Radio Communications from Nyack College. Stinson has worked for the Royals in the past on a part-time basis for the game operations staff. David, his wife Stacy and daughter Madeline reside in Shillington.

Pomposello becomes the fourth equipment manager in Royals history. The Jefferson Valley, New York native spent the last two seasons at West Point with the Army Cadets as equipment manager for hockey and lacrosse. He also has professional experience in hockey serving as the equipment manager for the United Hockey Leauge's New Haven Knights and the assistant equipment manager for the American Hockey League's Wilkes Barre/ Scranton Penguins and the Hartford Wolfpack from 1997-2000.

In addition, Gregory Shober has been promoted from a ticket account executive to the merchandise coordinator. Shober will be responsible for managing the teams' new Fan-Attic merchandise location at 645 Penn Street in downtown Reading, as well as, game night merchandise sales in the Sovereign Center during the season. The Mohnton native replaces Brian Hommel who held a similar position since the team's inception in 2000.

The Royals 5th Anniversary Season faces off October 29 against Kelly Cup Champion Trenton. The Royals will raise the North Division regular season champion banner prior to the drop of the puck.
