
Wranglers Hit The Ice In Calgary Training Camp

Las Vegas, NV- The Las Vegas Wranglers® announced that the team has six former players participating in the Calgary Flames 2007 training camp starting Thursday, September 6th.
Wranglers Adam Cracknell, Aki Seitsonen, Brent Krahn, Adam Pardy, Tim Hambly and Ryan Donally will all suit up for the Flames in training camp this week. Forwards Cracknell, Donally and Seitsonen all enter their second season in the professional ranks after spending time in Las Vegas during the 2006-07 season. Hambly, a third-year defenseman started with Las Vegas before moving up to the American Hockey League's Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights during the 2005-06 season. Fellow defenseman Adam Pardy played alongside Hambly in Las Vegas and in Omaha during the 05-06 season. Krahn, a former first round pick of the Flames, played with Las Vegas during the team's inaugural season in 2003-04. Krahn will be competing for the Flames back-up goalie position behind Miikka Kiprusoff.
The first on-ice session for the prospects is scheduled for Friday, September 7th beginning at 8:45 a.m. A total of 41 players will be participating in the prospects camp (5 goalies, 10 defensemen and 26 forwards). On Tuesday, September 11th the Flames prospects will have their first Red vs. White intra-squad game at 1:00 p.m. at the Pengrowth Saddledome in Calgary.
The Wranglers are expected to make more announcements regarding player signings over the next few weeks. Defensemen Aaron Power, Gerry Burke, Jason Krischuk and Jason Jozsa, as well as forward Brandon Kaleniecki have all agreed to terms for the 2007-08 season.
Individual game tickets are now on sale. Fans may purchase tickets on the Wranglers team website at www.lasvegaswranglers.com or the Orleans Arena website (www.orleansarena.com). Fans may also purchase tickets at any of the following locations in the valley: Galleria Mall, Orleans Casino showroom box office, Gold Coast Casino showroom box office and the Suncoast Casino showroom box office. The Wranglers play all 36 home games at the Orleans Arena, located at the Orleans Hotel and Casino at 4500 W. Tropicana Avenue. Las Vegas will host Opening Night on Sunday, October 21st at 7:05 pm at the Orleans Arena. The Wranglers will host the Bakersfield Condors at 7:05 pm on Thursday, October 11th in a preseason game.
