Wranglers Best Condors, 4-1

Bakersfield, Calif. - Special teams bolstered the Las Vegas Wranglers in a 4-1 victory over the Bakersfield Condors tonight, stopping the team for the second game in a row.

A scoreless first period left Bakersfield with the narrow 9-7 shot advantage. Six minutes into the second, Wranglers defenseman Charlie Cook tallied a power play goal to give Las Vegas the 1-0 lead, and defenseman Matt Campanale backed the score up with his third goal of the season, putting the Wranglers up 2-0 at the end of 40 minutes.

Condors defenseman Art Bidlevskii cut the Wranglers' lead in half five minutes into the third, making it a 2-1 game. Las Vegas regained the two-goal lead off the stick of center Carlo Finucci on a power play ten minutes later. In the final 30 seconds of the game, with Condors goaltender Brian Stewart pulled for the mad advantage. Cook was hooked on a scoring opportunity, awarding him the empty net goal and securing a 4-1 victory for Las Vegas. In the win, Wranglers goaltender Joe Fallon stopped 26 shots after goaltender Mitch O'Keefe won 2-1 over the Condors on Tuesday night.

The Wranglers finish the regular season with four games at home starting Saturday, March 23, against the Utah Grizzlies. That night also marks the return of "Regrettable Tattoo Night," where fans with questionable ink can win tattoo and tattoo cover up prizes. On Sunday, March 24, fans can take part in the last post-game skate of the season after the 2:05 p.m. contest.

Celebrating 10 seasons of Wranglers hockey this year, group events are available at all home games, including pre-game ice skating parties, private luxury suites, and rink-side catered party boxes.
