
Royals Activate Forward Alex Berry from Injured Reserve

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League and the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League, today announced that the team: (i) activated forward Alex Berry from the 21-Day Injured Reserve; (ii) activated defenseman Dominic Jalbert from the team's Reserve List; (iii) placed forward David Civitarese on the Reserve List; and (iv) released forward Robbie Bourdon from his Amateur Tryout Agreement.
Berry, a third year pro from Danvers, Massachusetts, was placed on the 21-Day Injured Reserve on February 17. He has recorded fifteen points (6g-9a) and forty-seven penalty minutes in twenty-five games with the Royals. Jalbert, a first year pro from Gatineau, Quebec, was placed on the team's Reserve List yesterday. He has picked up a pair of assists in seven games with the Royals. Bourdon, a first year pro from Ilse Bizard, Quebec, recorded two points (1g-1a) in three games with Reading.
The Royals continue a four game road trip through the North Division tonight (Saturday, March 23 @ 7:05 pm et) at the Huntington Center in Toledo, Ohio, against the Toledo Walleye. The Game Day Broadcast on Saturday starts at 6:35 pm et on CBS Sports Radio (1240 am and 98.5 fm) with the pre-game warm-up show brought to you by Steve Moyer Subaru. As with all Royals' road games this season, Friday's game will be televised locally in Berks County, Pennsylvania, courtesy of Boscov's Travel and Apple Vacations. Royals Kelly Cup Playoff tickets are now on sale. The Eastern Conference Quarterfinals are tentatively scheduled to start at Sovereign Center in Reading, PA, on Friday, April 5, and Saturday, April.
