Las Vegas Wranglers News Release
Las Vegas - The Las Vegas Wranglers announced Wednesday that Dr. Thomas Alfreda, Dr. Michael Reiss, and Access Health Dental have partnered with the team medical staff for the 2013-14 season. Returning to serve the players are Drs. Michael Miao, Chad Hanson, Matthew Fouse, and Andrew Bronstein.
Dr. Thomas Alfreda, partner in Internal Medicine Specialists, will serve as the team's primary care physician and help coordinate medical treatment for the players with the team's orthopedic physicians. Alfreda also serves as the medical director for Nathan Adelson Hospice, and trains nursing and medical students as part of his associate professorship for Touro University School of Medicine.
Dr. Michael Reiss has been brought on as the team's chiropractor. Reiss finished top of his class at Life Chiropractic College, and works with the Las Vegas Car Accident Treatment Center. He also published the Las Vegas Car Accident Victim's Health Guide and writes a monthly "Chiropractic Impact Report" newsletter.
Access Health Dental, based in Las Vegas, is the team's new dental care provider. Established in 2012 with a particular focus on the oral-systemic health connection, Access Health Dental will serve the Wranglers from numerous Vegas valley locations and their custom-built 53-foot mobile dental office.

Dr. Chad Hanson, Dr. Matthew Fouse, and Dr. Andrew Bronstein will also continue to serve the Wranglers. Hanson and Fouse work with Miao at Desert Orthopaedic Center, and both add their arthroscopic surgery skills to the team. In addition to the Wranglers, Hanson acts as team physician to several local high school football teams, and Fouse has previously worked with WAC basketball. Bronstein, owner of the Bronstein Hand Center, handles upper extremity orthopedic conditions for all ages, and specializes in clinical, surgical, and rehabilitation care from the fingertip to the shoulder.
The Wranglers begin a three-game series against the Alaska Aces on Friday, Oct. 25, at 7:05 p.m. The Wranglers will hold a Halloween "Skate and Treat" on Sunday, Oct. 27, at 2:05 p.m., where kids are encouraged to wear costumes and trick-or-treat along the concourse.
