Recap of Last Week

The Road Warriors opened the season on Friday with a 5-3 win against the Gwinnett Gladiators. Andrew Rowe, who ranked seventh in the ECHL scoring race last season, scored his first career hat trick in the game. The five goals marked the second time in team history that more than one goal has been scored on opening night. Rookies Michael St. Croix and Elgin Pearce added to the score sheet by tallying their first professional goals. Carsen Chubak collected his first professional win and made 20 saves.

On Saturday night, the Road Warriors knocked off the Gladiators again, defeating their divisional rival by a score of 3-1. Jordie Johnston tallied two goals to help the Road Warriors beat the Gladiators. St. Croix collected two assists which gave him four points on the weekend.

Week Ahead

The Road Warriors' home opener is this Friday at 7 p.m. against the South Carolina Stingrays at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena. Opening Night marks the first time fans will be able to see the new renovations in person. The highlight of the renovations includes the new jumbotron and ribbon board. TICKETS ARE STILL ON SALE FOR THE ROAD WARRIORS' HOME OPENER FOR JUST $10 IN THE RED LEVEL! Fans are invited to enjoy pre-game fun at the ABC Party Rentals Warriors Fan Fest. The pre-game Fan Fest will provide fun for the whole family and will feature live entertainment provided by 93.3 The Planet and Rock 101, interactive inflatable's for kids and food and beverage for purchase. On Saturday, the Road Warriors and the Stingrays will face off again at the North Charleston Coliseum.

Streaks and Stats

-Andrew Rowe is ranked tied for third in the ECHL scoring race.

-The Road Warriors' power play was 2 for 5 this past weekend.

-Sean Berkstresser was named the second captain in team history on Thursday.

-The Road Warriors won their first two regular season games in team history.

Transactions

Andrew Rowe and Michael St. Croix were recalled to the Hartford Wolf Pack. Greenville received defenseman Brendon Nash from Hartford.

On Wednesday morning, the Road Warriors traded forward Ryan Garlock to the Bakersfield Condors for future considerations.
