Bulls Continue Road Trip in Idaho against the Steelheads

Tonight's Matchup: The San Francisco Bulls (1-1-0-0) hit the second stop on their eight-game road trip, tonight when they take on the Idaho Steelheads (0-1-0-0) at CenturyLink Arena. Tonight marks the first of five meetings between these clubs this season.
Last weekend the Bulls split their two-game series against the Alaska Aces. In game one they impressively downed the Aces 2-1 thanks to goals from Jordan Morrison and Brett Parnham, and an outstanding 44 saves from new netminder Tyler Beskorowany. Alaska came back to take game two, 5-0.
On Tuesday, the Bulls announced they had added some size and strength to their roster with the signing of forward Riley Emmerson. At a towering 6'8," Emmerson becomes the tallest players in Bulls history. He has been in professional hockey for eight years, having spent last season with the Missouri Mavericks of the Central Hockey League. In 55 games there, he ranked second in the team with 95 penalty minutes, and also chipped in six points (5g, 1a). He will be join the team in Idaho this evening.
Tonight San Francisco will look to bump their record back to over .500, and they will look to do so with a familiar face on the opposing bench. Forward Tommy Grant, who scored in the Steelheads first game this year, spent five games with the Bulls last season. In his five games, he contributed five points (1g, 4a), to go along with 19 penalty minutes. He also spent 16 games with the Bulls' AHL affiliate, the Worcester Sharks.

On Friday, October 25, the Bulls will land in Utah to take on the Grizzlies, their third destination on this road trip. The game begins at 6:05pm.
