
Wranglers Add Forward Kilpatrick

LAS VEGAS, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today the team has agreed to terms with forward Jimmy Kilpatrick.
"Jimmy is a guy we have had our eye on for a while," said General Manager and Head Coach Glen Gulutzan. "He's a rookie forward with a lot of potential. He should provide some depth up front."
Kilpatrick joins the Wranglers after a four-year career at Colorado College. In 132 games with the Tigers, Kilpatrick registered 37 goals and 72 assists for 109 points. As a junior, the New Prague, MN native led Colorado College in scoring with 25 assists and 32 points in 36 games played. The 23-year old participated with the NHL's Ducks in Anaheim's rookie tournament at the Orleans Arena in mid-September. The 5-foot-11, 185-pound forward recently attended training camp with the AHL's Iowa Chops.
With the addition of Kilpatrick, the Wranglers have announced a total of 20 players signed for the 2008-09 season. Defensemen Brandon Straub, Jim Jorgensen, Michael Beynon, Gerard Miller, Bret Tyler, Jason Dest, Mark Lutz and Mike Madill have all agreed to terms for 2008-09. Forwards Tim Spencer, Matt McKnight, Luke Hunter, Tyler Mosienko, Mike Hamilton, Jordan Hack, Chris Neiszner, Adam Miller, Matt Beaudoin and Brandon Kaleniecki have also signed. Two-time Central Hockey League Goalie of the Year John Decaro has also agreed to terms for the upcoming season.
Las Vegas will play three preseason games starting at home with Bakersfield on Thursday, October 9th at 7:30 pm at the Orleans Arena. The Wranglers will then travel to Bakersfield to play the Condors at Rabobank Arena on Saturday, October 11th at 7:00 pm. Las Vegas will conclude its preseason schedule with a game in Ontario against the expansion Reign. The Wranglers will meet the Reign at 5:00 pm at the Center Ice Arena in Ontario, CA on Sunday, October 12th.
2008-09 season seat packages are on sale now at (702) 471-PUCK. The Wranglers play all 36 regular season home games at the Orleans Arena, located at the Orleans Hotel and Casino at 4500 W. Tropicana Avenue.
Opening night is scheduled for Thursday, October 23rd at the Orleans Arena. Individual game tickets are on sale now at (702) 284-7777.
