Freddie Falcon to Captain Fresno Falcons Light the Night Team on October 18th

Fresno, Ca...The Fresno Falcons have announced that Freddie Falcon, the Dean of Central Valley mascots, will officially captain the Falcons Light the Night team on Saturday, October 18th from 5-9pm on the campus of Fresno State. The Falcons are annual supporters of Light the Night, a fundraising walk with more than 2000 participants that raises money and awareness for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Central California. Light the Night is one of the most visual and emotional walks of the fundraising season with walkers carrying illuminated balloons to celebrate the lives of those lost to Leukemia and other cancers, and to celebrate with cancer survivors and care givers. Freddie Falcon is the captain of the Falcons team and everyone is welcome to join Freddie's team. This will be a fun event for the entire family. The Falcons have also announced that all walkers at the 10th Anniversary Light the Night Walk will receive a free ticket offer to the Falcons home opener on Friday, October 24 at Selland Arena when the Falcons battle the Bakersfield Condors at 7:35pm.
