Hagerstown Suns News Release

The Hagerstown Suns are proud to announce that the World's Longest Slip-n-Slide is returning once again to Hagerstown's Municipal Stadium on Sunday, July 9th. The super-long Slip-n-Slide will be available to all kids age 12 and under at the conclusion of the Suns game vs. the Lakewood BlueClaws.

Presented by WILD 96.7fm, the World's Largest Slip-n-Slide is part of the Suns annual "Super Soaked Sunday" promotion. The Suns are encouraging all fans to wear their bathing suits and sit in any one of the numerous "wet zones" throughout the ballpark. "Dry Zones" are also available for fans not as thrilled with the prospects of getting wet!

Sunday's game begins at 5:35pm. In addition to the World's Longest Slip-n-Slide, kids are also invited to "Run the Bases" after every Sunday home game. Those children who desire to participate in the Slip-n-Slide will need a parent or guardian present to sign a liability waiver before participating.

The Hagerstown Suns are the single-A affiliate of the New York Mets and are owned by Los Angeles based Mandalay Baseball Properties. For more information, or to purchase tickets, contact the Suns at 301.791.6266 or at info@hagerstownsuns.com.
