World Championship Midget Wrestling Comes To Peoria

Peoria, Ill. (March 12, 2008) - Peoria Rivermen President/CEO Bart Rogers announced today that World Championship Midget Wrestling will arrive in Peoria on Saturday, March 22, when the Rivermen face off against the Iowa Stars. Three matches - Hardcore, World Championship Title and Tag Team - will take place post-game for all ticketed fans.
"This really epitomizes our 'More Than Just Hockey' approach," Rogers said. "This group of wrestlers, headlined by Little Kato, is well-regarded in minor-league baseball circles. We anxiously anticipate their arrival in the squared-circle in Peoria."
Madd Mexx "The Imagination Sensation," who - at 4'7" - is considered the Andre the Giant of midget wrestling, will appear with Bad Boy Brian, Beautiful Bobby Dean and Little Kato.
On Friday, March 21, Petersen Health Care presents Country Star Craig Morgan live in a post-game concert. Special Captain's Lagoon seats, which include on-ice seating during the concert and Lower Bowl seating during the game, are available for $35 each by calling 680-3763.
