Worcester Sharks to Host On-Ice Wedding on Sunday, January 23

WORCESTER, MA - Worcester Sharks President Michael A. Mudd announced today the details for the first Sharks Wedding on Sunday, January 23, during the second intermission when the Sharks host the Portland Pirates at 3pm at the DCU Center.

Rachel Jacobs and Ed "Shred" Bezoet de Bie will tie the knot at center ice during a second intermission ceremony when the Sharks host the Portland Pirates on Sunday, January 23. The voice of the Worcester Sharks Eric Lindquist will officiate the wedding ceremony as he received his One-Day Marriage Designation Certificate from the State of Massachusetts.

FINZ will serve as an honorary Groomsmen as the Sharks host their first ever on-ice wedding at the DCU Center. The Groom and the Groomsmen (including FINZ) will be all decked out in tuxedos compliments of Bonardi's Formalwear.

The entire wedding party and their invited guests will take the ice after the game and join the bride and the groom for a "first skate".

On Sunday, the Sharks host the Portland Pirates at 3pm with a special on-ice wedding during the 2nd intermission! Its $5 Kids Sundays presented by Papa Gino's!
