
Worcester Sharks To Host 3rd Annual High School Hockey Classic

WORCESTER - Worcester Sharks President and CEO Michael T. Lehr announced today that the Worcester Sharks will be hosting the 3rd of three High School Hockey doubleheaders at the DCU Center presented by the Massachusetts Army National Guard on Saturday, February 6th before the Sharks host the Providence Bruins at 7:05p.m.
The high school hockey rivals will face-off on Saturday, February 6th at 4:00p.m. in the 3rd Annual High School Hockey Classic before the Sharks host the Providence Bruins at 7:05p.m. Doors at the DCU Center will open at 3:30p.m.
Glen "Big Baby" Davis / "Uno Uno" from the Boston Celtics will join in on the fun and sign autographs!
"The Worcester Sharks are proud to showcase two of the elite schools in the Massachusetts area," said Lehr. "The 3rd Annual High School Hockey Classic will have all the bells and whistles of a regular Sharks game. We expect a large turnout for the game and look forward to some great high school hockey action."
The Pioneers won the first two High School Hockey Classics including last years 7-3 victory over the Guardians on January 31st.
Tickets are just $10.50 in advance when purchased through the St. John's or St. Peter-Marian schools or by visiting www.SharksAHL.com. One ticket will allow entry into the high school game and the Sharks game.
